Embodied Leadership Coaching - RCF Connects - Richmond Community Foundation

Our Embodied Leadership Coaching invites leaders to connect with all parts of themselves—intellectual, physical, emotional, spiritual, and social—to move toward what they care about for themselves and their communities. This particular coaching method is unique because it moves beyond an idea about how we want to be, and toward embodying it, even under pressure.

Our coaching program supports many different kinds of leaders, whether in their community, family, or workplace. We believe in our individual and collective power to heal and grow, to practice new ways of being. Coaching is a series of confidential, one-on-one conversations with a trained coach who will support you in moving toward a leadership goal, something you want for yourself or a new way you’d like to be in community

Our Coaches

Linden Podschun, PCC

Linden Podschun, PCC (they/them) has more than 20 years of experience in non-profit leadership, including as an Executive Director. They love to support coaching participants to connect deeply with individual and collective resilience. Coaching sessions with Iris can also include virtual bodywork using breath, sound, and movement to support the body to take new actions.

Zimbabwe Davies

Zimbabwe Davies (he/him) is a Motivational Speaker/Philanthropist and Certified Community Coach who spends his spends time involved in philanthropy work in Oakland and Coaching Communities, with the intention of helping people thrive.

Kamela Stewart

Kamela Stewart (she/her/ya’ll) works as a Housing and Coaching Manager supporting young people in the Bay Area. While working with current and former foster youth, Kamela found Coaching to be the catalyst her clients need to successfully catapult them towards their goals and vision.

Bidisha Banerjee, PCC

Bidisha Banerjee, PCC (she/her) is an embodied leadership coach who supports clients to balance left-brain and right-brain ways of knowing. She created the Heart, Head, and Hands curriculum which trained emerging leaders worldwide to connect with themselves, collaborate across differences, and work for our common humanity. Anela Barboza, PCC

Anela Barboza, PCC (she/they/oia) is deeply committed to creating balance within identity and cultural exploration, and blending our roots with our environment to move through personal transformation and healing. Anela’s is shaped by her living experience as a second generation diasporic kanaka maoli (Native Hawaiian), born and raised in a predominantly white, gentrified community.
