Meet Alicia Romero, Ph.D

Alicia Romero, Ph.D. (ella) ofrece coaching desde una perspectiva cultural, prácticas reflexivas y de justicia social. Ha ofrecido servicios de psicoterapia, servicios generales de salud mental y coaching para lideres comunitarios e individuos. Su visión del coaching es crear espacios de autorealización, crecimiento y logros de metas, desde las potencialidades, identidades y diferencias. En la búsqueda del bienestar, el equilibrio, la resiliencia y la sanación cultural. Alicia utiliza diferentes estrategias de afrontamiento, plenitud mental, pensamiento flexible y regulación de las emociones. Alicia creció en un país pobre en dictadura, venció una discapacidad y ha vivido en diferentes paises superando experiencias de racismo. Ella ama el trabajo con la comunidad latinx, niños, familias con necesidades especiales y lideres comunitarios.

Alicia Romero Ph.D. (she/her/ella) offers coaching in Spanish from a cultural perspective, reflective practices, and social justice. She has offered psychotherapy services, general mental health services, and coaching for community leaders and individuals. Her vision of her coaching is to create spaces for self-realization, growth and achievement of goals, from potentialities, identities and differences. In the search for well-being, balance, resilience and cultural healing, Alicia uses different coping strategies, mindfulness, flexible thinking, and emotion regulation. Alicia grew up in a poor country during a dictatorship, she overcame a disability and has lived in different countries overcoming experiences of racism. She loves working with the Latinx community, children, families with special needs, and community leaders.
