Formerly known as Mobility LABs, Comment Studios is based in Antioch. This is a pioneering, four-year initiative to develop new solutions to sustainably lift families out of poverty and to promote dynamic leaders who will change the national conversation around social and economic mobility. “Mobility” from poverty is defined very broadly, as economic success, power, and belonging. The program creates a safe and nurturing environment for community leaders and staff to support each other and increase individual and group resiliency. The program is developing a studio where community members can learn beginning, intermediate, and advanced computer-based media in all forms. The studio will provide an on-ramp for residents to careers in technology-based jobs.
