Evelia is a dedicated nonprofit professional with nearly two decades of experience in grant management, donor engagement, and community-focused program development. She brings deep expertise in managing multimillion-dollar grant portfolios, aligning budgets with program outcomes, and building trust-based partnerships that advance equity and justice.

Prior to joining RCF Connects, she managed a $3.4M annual grant portfolio at Community Initiatives/Live Free USA, strengthening funder relationships and ensuring compliance while supporting donor engagement. She also directed the Levi Strauss Foundation’s $3M annual grant portfolio, co-designing initiatives that amplified grassroots BIPOC leaders, and previously coordinated neighborhood-based grantmaking at the San Francisco Foundation.
