Carlos Lemus

Communications Manager

Carlos Lemus has been making a positive impact since 2019. He began his career with RCF Connects as Healthy Richmond’s Project Manager for Resident Leadership. In this role, he has been actively recruiting, training, and mobilizing Richmond community residents to lead campaigns for health access, education equity, and economic justice in West Contra Costa. Before this, Carlos worked with RYSE Youth Center and Urban Tilth in Richmond, promoting civic engagement among both youth and adults.

In 2021 he transitioned into RCF’s Communications Manager. Carlos brings excellent communication skills and experience to RCF. His work has often involved navigating technology for remote work, a key component of his responsibilities. With a double major in Film & Digital Media and History from UC Santa Cruz, Carlos has a unique perspective on the role of history in our work and adapting to new technology.

Passionate about the intersection of art and technology, Carlos has worked on various art projects, including a mural at Davis Park, music videos, short documentary videos, short films, music and sound mixing, graphic designs, logos for startups, business cards, posters, signage, and social media platforms.
