We are proud to share some exciting news—RCF Connects has been named Non-Profit of the Year at the Annual Antioch Chamber of Commerce Gala on March 28, 2025!
This year’s theme was “Together We Thrive: Building Connections, Inspiring Engagement.” And that’s exactly what we believe in.
RCF Connects has been working alongside the Antioch community since 2018. From day one, our focus has been simple—listen to the community, connect people with resources, and build lasting change.
Over the years, we’ve partnered with local government, community leaders, and national organizations like the Robin Hood Foundation. Together, we’ve raised $1.5 million to support the Sycamore Drive neighborhood. This funding helped launch projects like: Renovated parks, College and career pathway programs, and a guaranteed income pilot.
But our work didn’t stop there.
We also brought a down payment assistance program to Antioch, raising $1.8 million to help first-time homebuyers with low to moderate incomes.
Through our Equity for Black Women and Girls initiative, we’ve supported 24 local women entrepreneurs with a full business development program. In just two years, these amazing women have launched 21 new businesses right here in Antioch.
We’re also working to close gaps in transportation and create new community economic strategies to better serve residents.
At RCF Connects, we believe that when people are connected to opportunity, everything is possible. This award is a celebration of all the progress we’ve made—together.
