Meet Kapi`olani A Laronal

Kapi`olani A. Laronal, MA, Ed., (she/her) is a descendant of the Haida/Tsimsian tribes of Alaska (Eagle), Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian), and Filipino. She comes from a family of educators, community activists, and leaders and has roots in the Great Pacific Northwest at Tacoma, Washington. She is an educator, athlete, life coach, and consultant who teaches Indigenous approaches to positive change by using traditional teachings and knowledge to support personal and community transformation and growth. She currently lives in The Bronx with her partner and their three chihuahuas.
