Mitzi Pérez-Caro

Mitzi Pérez-Caro, a Digital Art and Web Design teacher at Kennedy High School, is a dedicated educator and community advocate with deep roots in Richmond. A first-time homebuyer through the Richmond Housing Renovation Program in 2017, Mitzi also serves on the Healthy Richmond Schools and Neighborhood Action Team. In 2022, she was named Educator of the Year. A graduate of UC Berkeley’s School of Journalism with a Master of Arts, she brings valuable experience as a direct participant in one of RCF Connect’s initiatives. She hopes to use her perspective to further serve RCF’s board.
