Kimberly Rogers

Dr. Kimberly R. Rogers is now the 15th permanent president of Contra Costa College (CCC). Rogers’ year as acting president at CCC saw substantial enrollment increases, a wave of new student service programs, and CCC’s admission into the prestigious Achieving the Dream program, an effort which she spearheaded herself.

Her responsiveness to community needs and focus on advancing equitable student outcomes is an excellent fit for CCC and the West County community. Dr. Rogers was a first-generation student and remains a lifelong learner. She earned her Ph.D. in Higher Education from Pennsylvania State University, a master’s degree in education from Harvard University, and a bachelor’s degree in French, with a minor in chemistry, from the University of South Carolina Honors College.
